Wax Sword “Prayer”

The wax sword “Prayer” is a visual image of a collective prayer for Ukraine’s victory in this war. It was created during the ART Kuzemyn residency in the village of Kuzemin, Sumy region, in 2023 as an independent work. Later, the piece also became part of the theatrical production The Rules of the Game, with Kostyantyn Zorkin serving as curator of the visual component.
The work combines the symbolic form of a sword with the fragility of wax. Rather than representing violence, it reflects vulnerability, hope, and collective resilience.
